Smoky Chipotle Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds coarse ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Beef Base
  • 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chipotle powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce®
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • 1. In a large saucepan over high heat, cook beef until brown.
  • 2. Add onion and garlic. Let cook for 5 minutes.
  • 3. Add Roasted Beef Base, tomato paste, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Stirring until base completely dissolves.
  • 4. Add chipotle powder, cumin, coriander, black pepper and The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 5. On low heat, add cilantro and let simmer for 20-30 minutes.
