Country Styled Chicken Tenders

Our super crispy, fried chicken tenders get a flavor boost from our Peppered Gravy Mix. They are perfect for dinner or as a kid-friendly after school snack.


  • 1 (4.5-ounce) pack Southeastern Mills® Country Gravy Mix
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 pound chicken tenders (about 10)
  • Canola oil for frying


  • 1. In a large skillet, add oil to cover chicken tenders, preheat oil to 350°F.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, add dry Country Gravy mix, breadcrumbs and garlic powder.
  • 3. In another medium bowl, add milk.
  • 4. Dip chicken tenders in milk, then coat in dry mix. Repeat until all chicken is coated.
  • 5. Fry chicken until golden brown or internal temperature reaches 165°F.
