Peppered Beef Kabobs & Summer Vegetables

Our tasty kabobs with beef, peppers and onions are perfect on the grill for an easy summer supper.


  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 2 pounds top sirloin
  • 1 Better Than Gravy Organic Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1 large squash


  • 1. Preheat the grill to 400°F.
  • 2. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • 3. Remove half the marinade to a small bowl and add 1 large zucchini and 1 large squash cut into ½” slices and toss to combine.
  • 4. Cut 2 pounds top sirloin into 1” cubes, add the kabob meat to the remaining marinade and toss to coat.
  • 5. Thread a piece of zucchini onto a skewer then a piece of kabob meat. Alternate zucchini and squash with the kabob meat until there are 4 pieces of each per skewer.
  • 6. Place the skewers directly onto the grill and grill for 2 minutes with the lid closed.
  • 7. Using long handled tongs turn the kabobs and grill for 2 minutes more.
  • 8. Turn the kabobs and grill for 1 minute more per side. Carefully remove the kabobs from the grill and serve immediately with the Better Than Gravy Organic Brown Gravy Mix. Prepared according to the package.
