Our Beef Stroganoff recipe features tender beef and hearty mushrooms a perfect recipe to satisfy a hungry appetite. This slow cooker favorite is an all-around hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Seasoning Mix for Beef
  • 1 cups of water
  • 1 to 2 pounds beefsteak
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 8 - ounce jar of mushrooms
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 Package of egg noodles or rice

Instructions

  • 1. Mix entire contents of Seasoning Mix for Beef packet with 1 cup of water.
  • 2. Add 1-2 lb. beef cut meat into 2 inch cubes.
  • 3. Add the following: 1 large onion (diced) and 1- 8 ounce can of mushrooms (drained).
  • 4. Cover and cook on low setting for 7-8 hours. Do not stir; product will baste itself during the cooking process.
  • 5. After cooking, turn off heat and fold in 8 ounces of sour cream.
  • 6. Serve over noodles or rice, prepared according to the package.
